DiaCompe Silver D-tube Shifters
I'm fairly new to bike forums, and road biking in general. My obsession started when I procured a Schwinn Voyaguer 11.8, it's a great bike for me, in rather poor cosmetic condition though... I was riding a few days ago and my front dérailleur shifter crapped out, I went home , cleaned it, oiled it, then put it back on, but to my dismay it still wouldn't work. So I bought a pair of DiaCompe Silver DT shifters of Velo Orange for forty bucks. They arrived to day, but to my dismay they wouldn't fit on my old clamp on shifter bosses (Shimano Altus, if it matters...). I looked around on line for new clamp on bosses, and found nothing, I was wondering if any of you hard core bike people could help me? Thanks in advance.
