Right now spring is exploding across the countryside, and everyone and their brother is out riding around on the weekend. The weather has been in the mid 70's The hills are a beautiful emerald green, and the wild flowers are blooming in earnest. The San Ramon Valley was positively clogged with bike traffic this weekend past - I was absolutely stunned to see the amount of bikes that were out and about.

Now is exactly the wrong time to buy a bike for cheap......

John,
I live in the Bay Area too (San Jose) so the prices don't surprize me either. However, I'm one of those guys that can wait for the right deal to come along. The information that you guys provided me will definitely be more than what those bikes are worth. Thanks.
