If you want my advice pick up a old road bike that is well made (not some cheap knock off) but kinda beat-up and cheap make it a fixie for short and quick in town rides in poor weather and keep the other bike for long rides in hilly country. Raliegh grand prix or record would be great and pretty easy to track down they are the bikes that put schwinn chicago out of business in the 70s. or you could just go to bikesdirect and get one and do whatever you want to it.
that doesn't look as bad as what i thought it would, but why the bare metal?
