Compatibility could be an issue if the crankset is a triple and if the cassette is a 10-speed.

To offer the best answer we really need more information. The Ultegra is lighter and more durable but could be a bad mistake if not fully compatible. The number, size, and difference in sizes of the chainrings all make a difference in FD choice, so does the chain width.
