I love it when a bunch of people jump on a thread and put the OP on the defensive for no other reason than to put him on the defensive.
And yah, youcoming, we had a similar experience today when we signed up for the "winter season" gym. Two fat people in street clothes walk into the gym automatically means we've never exercised before. Tried to tell him I've dropped 30lbs and I ride 5-6d a week but it was like talking to a brick. Against my better judgment, we signed up anyway.
