Who ever did this, he is the kind of person who make things happen in this world. Keep on creating and improving. Garage designers/inventors are really not worried about aesthetics in the first iterations.
Yeah, this definitely isn't pretty, but I'm sure he learned a lot doing it and given a long period of unemployment and a lot of carbon fibre and resin, he could knock out a better one next. Then a better one and a better one, then one he could sell to someone adventurous, then some custom on-request geometries based on requests from friends-of-friends, then he's got a custom frame business.
Also, this guy might very well be able to properly repair CF frames. That's worth something in this day and age.
