Considering handcycle build attempt. looking for plans.
I don't built bikes professionally, but I think if I had some plans or more complete ideas I could pull it off.
I build myself stretch cruisers all the time, mostly cutting up and rewelding bikes together. I think I want to try making a handcycle trike for a local kid, but so far all I have for research is google image searches. just wondering if there is a place/site to find more info on such builds. thanks for any thought on it.

DIY, Googled Images of anything yet? there are hand powered tad pole trikes, lots of chain , powers the rear wheel ,
joystick, effect. leaning the hand cranks can steer the 2 wheels..
You might read up on mechanical engineering .. too.

That Tadpole bike is genius! Way more leverage than usual hand cycles. It's like an upper body bike! Seems like a rowing motion.
I want one! Add some pedals and get a full body work out commute.

Try looking up on google Atomic Zombie I think there are some plans there. I built one handcycle is difficult and time consuming. Very difficult to get front end right for steering.
