6cm leg difference & clipless pedals

6cm leg difference & clipless pedals
New around here, hoping I could get some advice.
I have been looking to start using clipless pedals and shoes on my bike for a while now, however my right leg's tibia bone is 6cm shorter than than the left, so I need to find a way to make up 6cm on the right shoe/pedal. I have not purchased any cycling shoes or clipless pedals yet, as I am not sure if it is viable, and how much extra expensive it may cost.
Any suggestions and/or experience on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

i have leg length discrepancy, though about 2cm only, not as much as your case. i found clipless shoes help. if your length discrepancy is only on your tibia, you can stack shims under your shoes. if, say, part of the difference lies in your femur, you also vary the fore/aft positions of the cleats on the shoes. good thing about clipless is that you can be sure the adjustments remain the same and optimized for your condition everytime you ride. no need to fiddle with moving your body/feet around to find a comfy position. in your case, 6cm is quite a lot. i think there's a limit to how much you can shim the shoes depending on the pedal manufacturer. i heard that speedplay allows for the most shim thickness, though i can't confirm. i myself use shimano sl.

Try different crank lengths ? One could be 170 vs 175 mm.

taller cage plates on the pedal , built-up shoe sole too.. thicker pedal, essentially.
Have a shorter distance to BDC , with out reducing the leverage of the power stroke,
like a shorter crank arm will.

thanks for all the suggestions, taller cage plates exist? worth taking a look around for those. I do live in the uk so US companies are kinda off limits for me.

I don't know of any premade cages that would make up a 6cm difference but any metalworker with access to a waterjet should be able to fabricate them. I'd reccomend counter-weighted pedals with toe clips.
