I know roo hide makes good leather for football cleats. Nice soft but strong leather. I miss my 1970s roo football shoes.

Roo meat is lean and gamey, not unlike venison.

I read a great ride report (long distance tour) that described how one guy was taken out by a wombat.

Carnac cycling shoes were made of roo leather. They made some great shoes in the '90s. Toured across the country in a pair.

I still have a pair that I use once in awhile. Got them in 1994.

When I am assaulted by a gang of marsupials in Payette, Idaho, I will assume they were 86ed from the V-Twin Club.
