If true, I'd say execute him too. However, there are many unspoken and unproven assumptions that your statement that would have to be resolved first, and I suspect they are rooted much more in your political wishful thinking than in actual objectively provable criminal acts and intents.

Just because someone worked for the evil empire (GS) doesn't automatically mean they personally put grandma on the street, any more than the janitors on the death star personally killed Alderaan.

It seems your alternative facts are that mortgages that are delinquent are mandatory charity and should be carried at a loss forever.

If it is my job to foreclose houses, then I should do it as efficiently and expediently as possible.

If grandma doesn't want to be foreclosed, then grandma needs to not borrow money she can't afford to repay.

I know that is harsh, but really, that is how the world has to work (at least if you still want anyone to be willing to loan YOU or YOUR FAMILY money when you need to buy a house).

Yes, it's getting a little too political in here. Can't we all just agree that all politicians suck?

I'm resurrecting this thread to give an update. The guy who killed a cyclist because he was impatient, got only 60 days in jail for it, got several speeding tickets while awaiting trial including one for 80 MPH in a 40 MPH zone, has now been arrested yet again for reckless driving.

Motorist who struck, killed Washburn art professor in 2015 arrested again, sheriff says | The Wichita Eagle

I certainly hope the judge takes away this idiot's license. He's nothing but a menace on the roads.

Taking away his license is the least of it. I'm not normally an advocate of jailing drivers, even those who cause a fatal collision, but there has to be a line, and this guy is far beyond wherever any reasonable person might draw it.

I don't know the specifics of his prior conviction and sentence, but I hope the judge left something on the table, ie. a probation, so there's a basis for a serious jail term now. Some people never learn, and he seems to be one of them, so the only way to keep him from repeating is to lock him up.

The towering idiocy of someone who breaks traffic law that badly while awaiting trial on a manslaughter traffic issue is absolutely astounding.

As much as I hate to be an armchair psychologist, I can think of no explanation than this guy is an unrepentent sociopath. He must be completely incapable of thinking of other people as anything but inconvenient objects that are in his way.

Actually, I'm not that mad at this idiot. He is who he is, and that won't change.

I'm mad (there's probably a better word I could choose), at the judge in his manslaughter case. Don't judges ever get incensed or insulted? I understand the idea of impartial justice, but if I were a judge and had someone who felt it was OK to commit a serious traffic offense, while awaiting trial or sentencing for causing a death while committing a traffic offense, I would have ripped him a new one from the bench, and hit him with the max.

I'm not in favor of criminalizing actions done by basically good people that have tragic results, but as others have mentioned there is a line, and I too see every indication of a unrepentant sociopath.

There is a time for setting aside all considerations other than the good of society, and effectively if not literally eliminate the degenerate individual.

You, Sir, have no idea what your are talking about. I hope you never get hit on a bike ride, and if you do, you have the common sense not to blame everyone else. "Lock everyone up" doesn't work all the time. Look at your riding style, look at the time of day, look at all the other factors before you just write off the driver of a car as negligent.

you sir, have no idea what I have argued on this forum. I frequently argue against the lock them up make them pay point of view. I am a firm believer in taking responsibility for my own actions and doing my best to avoid situation where I may be hit. I was commenting on a poster point of view that harsh sentences are the best deterrent to poor driving.
