It's a weird distinction. A particular drug is only illegal because the Legislature deems it so.

True, if this really is a public health issue, isn't it really any intoxicated riding? The main point seems to be that merely patching the wounds and sending them back out without addressing the issues of addiction and homelessness is not likely to be effective in the long run.

If some one choses to use illegal drugs, and does something stupid in traffic, it is their fault, pure and simple. They are the ones Im talking about.

According to what you posted, it's a good thing when they use drugs because when the bad thing happens as a result, it will improve the gene pool.
Admit that was a stupid thing to say and move on instead of just being a dick to people.

A major benefit of the compact disc was that it eliminated broken records.

I am glad cannabis is legal here now. I would have been stupid and a clear path to immediate death to use it previously, but now that it's legal I guess there is no reason concern.

So is alcohol. How'd banning that work out?
What the hell is the point of all your posting in this thread? Do you really think society shouldn't be doing anything to try to help addicts? As usual, I think you just like to call people idiots and lie about the motivations of other posters on BF.

DO you find it amazing that massive amounts of the population don't use illegal drugs, have just as much money or more in their bank accounts, haven't screwed up their bodies with totally unneeded poisonous drugs yet not become so bitter that they need to keep posting judgmental garbage posts in order to declare themselves holier-than-thou?
Again, why are you going out of your way to revive a dead thread just to post these inane comments? What point do you think you're making? Because so far, what I'm getting from it is you'd rather see addicts dead than see them helped, and that's a pretty disgusting attitude on your part.
And don't respond by calling me an active drug addict or whatever other libel you have in mind. I've been completely sober for 41 years.

Didn't Robert Ludlum have a book titled "The Justin Recumbency"?
