Sadly, it has become an unjust stereotype I guess. But it's still a great video, I can't wait to show it to my friends.

BTW if You were wondering . . . When clipped in, I lean on cars to my LEFT

Whatever left and right are just distractions. Keep your eye on the ball. Our country (and the world) are driving off a cliff. Both the left and right are ignoring this problem. The representitive in congress who gave the first speech about peak oil is Bartlett a republican. The first ones to scream about high gas prices are Democrats. But JFK jr. is on the ball in terms of peak oil. So the issue is a wash politically.

That was kinda lame. It just... wasn't really that funny. There were some slight snicker moments, but that was about.

Turn 4 wheel drive off? In a 4 wheel drive is not the same as in 4 wheel drive. To quote Cindy Cellphone: " I don't even know if it has one of those 4 wheel thingies".

You didn't think that was well done**********?
That video says exactly what a lot of us have been thinking or saying.

I drive a Honda CRX, and every day there is always some giant pick-up or SUV tailgaiting me. Have you ever been waiting for the red light to change, sitting in a Honda with a Ford SUV mega truck inches away from your rear window? Or worse yet, if you are riding your bike, and wait for the light to change...

I thought it was well done in terms of production quality. Obviously some effort went into it. There were a few things that made me chuckle, like the mockery of uppity soccer moms. But overall, it just didn't make me laugh. I'm more into humor that is self-depricating, totally off the wall, or sick. This was just smug humor: preachin' to the choir. And if you're gonna be smug about it, you might as well throw some more facts in there for the choir to spread around.

Hit it on the head. The only difference is how they go about being oblivious to it. People are either in denial or think we'll be able innovate our way out of this looming crisis (nukes, hybrids, hydrogen, solar, wind, etc).

No one is coming to grips with the depth of reality because it's so grim: we be ****ed.

I wonder how many gallons of gas it takes Bobby to travel a single mile in his private jet?
Now that is true conservation! Way to go Bobby.

You must really hate Semi trucks and buses, huh? Using YOUR road!

That is a funny cartoon, thanks!

At this point, there is only one thing that does suprise me about the entire SUV thing: That the companies that manufacture amored trucks (the ones used by such companies as Brinks) have not started selling them to the public. Heck, we've got the Hummer, so what's holding them back?

Can't you just see the marketing for this? Crome wheels, designer editions, Eddie Bauer appearance packages, DVD players,,, Women would love them for "my childrens' safety", and men would love the respect they get on the road. It would take "nobody tells ME what to do!" to an entire new level.

I can just see these in the driveways of towns such as Concord, MA. (said driveways now populated by Hummers, Land cruisers, Navigators, etc.)

(Cynical humor fully intended...)

I like Ronnie Republican. That's pretty much how I feel about the whole situation. Notice that he's the only guy driving responsibly and not all over the road, nor into cyclists/pedestrians like everyone else. Yup, a "W" voter here. And I've got the same bumper stickers on my truck as he does: Bush/Cheney, NRA.
