:( I'll be in New Mexico on a backpacking trip, but I'll take a moment of silence. I wanted to do it last time, and forgot until the next week.

We've had a huge turn-out in Columbus the last two years for this. Everyone from the local racing teams, commuters, casual weekend cyclists, messengers, families of those who have been killed by cars... It's a fantastic, moving event. 7pm, South side of the Statehouse.

We'll have one here in Rock Hill, SC - come on down if you're in the area :)

Here in Little Rock, seventy members of BACA (Bicycle Advocacy of Central Arkansas) http://www.bacar.org/ and ABC (Arkansas Bicycle Club) rode along the Arkansas River in silence. Each rider had a tag with the name of a deceased cyclist.

Seems like a good idea in earnest, but in my experience is alwayas poorly excecuted. Last year I showed up at the posted time and place on the website, but no one showed?!?

The one for this year started way out in the suburbs, not really worth it for me to make it.

"ride of silence" was not here, this year (that i'm aware of). there probably were "rides" in filly area (not advertised here, in s nj).
maybe next year, now that I am more aware of resouces, I will advocate for an increased presence to acknowledge this cause for awareness.
Bsafe!

The Birmingham (Homewood) Ride of Silence was great. I think this was the second year, but my first to attend. We had police ******* the whole way and it was a good event. I'd guess that at least 150 riders showed up.

Thanks to those who organized this ride and to Homewood Police Dept. for the *******.

Oh I missed it.

they chose a rather odd location for Tampa anyways. Wish it was not silent ^^
