We seem pretty important now..

I was watching family feud and one of the questions was, name the top things that drivers watch out for on the road.
On the top of the list were animals, pedestrials, other drivers and the 3rd to last one was "bicycles". I was pretty surprised to see traffic signals as dead last...

Now. now, I, and I expect just about everybody has driven some distance at times without having full awareness of the road and scene around them. Have you never blinked and realized you are miles from the last place you have a clear memory of? I expect we have seen so many traffic signs and lights and been in so many traffic situation that we are sometimes driving by reflex.

Or, it is so obvious that we have to watch for traffic signs that the people being questioned did not include them.

Or, they know where all the signs are and what their response should be when they get there so the signs themselves do not register.

I had no idea Family Feud was still on! Is Richard Dawson still the host?

Survey says...
