Scientific American once speculated about the speed a bike could reach on the Moon. Low gravity gives low rolling resistance and, of course, no air drag. Hundreds of miles per hour or more. Any one remember the correct speed? Small planets like Ceres might need upside down bike paths so fast cyclists will not leave when they exceed escape velocity.
