Intense summer storms cause transportation havoc in NYC.

I'm interested in hearing from NYC riders on this. By now, most of you have heard of the summer storms
that hit New York early this morning. The link to the story.

So, much of the subway system was totally hosed, and surface street traffic was a nightmare. So, did any bicycle commuters have any problems, aside from the hopelessly snarled streets?

Traffic was significantly nastier than usual but it was mostly sitting still which made for a pretty easy commute all in all. Several jealous looks though. Happier to have my bike today than I've been in a while.
