How about something on a fluorescent green jacket... and at the sleeves, so when you put your arm out the turn indicators were really obvious.

The Arrows are too small and the LED's are not bright enough. This is a good idea but poorly executed. The Arrows have to be MUCH larger and lower, close the waist line.

Photographing LEDs is kinda difficult so it's hard to say... but otherwise I agree. Larger, lower.

Hmm... why not put 'em on your ass? Nope.. long jackets would cover em?

Somebody said sleeves, but that would necessitate not only arm signaling every time (potholes? evasive maneuvers?) but also leaving the arm out too long - while approaching and then at least halfway into the turn. I'd rather steer.

Neat, but unless you ride sitting substantially upright (no riding in the drops for us roadies) it can't be seen. That and the backpack issue mentioned above.
