Okay, so the driver was already fleeing from one hit-and-run and then another hit-and-run, killing a 2 year old girl, before he was caught and suspected of drunk driving? Okay, I'll bring the hammer and nails if someone else brings the wood.

How tragic for the family.

Sounds like the cops have an open-and-shut case: hit-and-run and vehicular manslaughter at the very least, plus felony drunk driving if they got a good Breathalyzer sample. I hope that driver gets what he deserves.

I don't know about that. I think this makes a much, much stronger statement:

It ain't that quick. Vlad Ţepeş was infamous for his rather cruel means of punishment, including impalement.

I'm pretty much with all the "torture his butt to death" posters; this fool needs to be an example of "we're done with this sh**."

Check out impalement on wikipedia; a bit graphic in its descriptions, but effective. To summarize: you get your 'taint' sliced open, and a REAL long axe handle shoved in the cut, and the long handle gets propped up. And you, squirming in agony, slowly slide down the handle until it comes out the other end. Or stops against bone. Takes days to die.

The problem with making an example of this yahoo is that future yahoos aren't paying attention - they're drunk and/or stoned all the time. I mean, how many times have we all heard "Drunk Driving is bad, m'kay?" and it hasn't stopped the real alcoholics and dope fiends from driving around blitzed.

I'd be happy to get this one yahoo off the road for a decade or two.
