Fact: 100% of cops on foot cannot catch you on a bike in traffic.

Bingo. I was riding in the city of San Salvador and a Sandinista wannabe cop comes along and tries to shake me down for a small payment, for some reason i couldn't figure out. (Not knowing Spanish had its advantages... ). I just pedaled up thru traffic, even doing a weave here and there (horrors!) and never saw him again.

You'll still will have the option to ride on the road? Riding on the sidewalk, pedestrians could be a night-mare!
Options are good!
