Even kids can be effective bike safety advocates:

Surprisingly, a $100 fine for dooring has existed in traditionally bike-unfrienlier-than-Brookline Boston since earlier this year. Great to see young advocates in action though.

There was an idiot comment comparing the boys to Eichmann (!) for "reasons" which were not entirely clear. I reported it, explaining that Eichmann rounded up Jews and others for concentration camp mass slaughter. The comment has now been disappeared

For the past several years I have volunteered as a judge and/or coach/mentor in the annual Lego F.I.R.S.T. robotics competition at Legoland California. "It's not about the plastic bricks" -- the kids learn teamwork and other social skills, as these guys obviously did.

$35 for double parking? Heck, that's probably cheaper than parking in an actual parking space.
