That segues nicely with the thread on our fat kids. That guy could use some exercise; he might lose both the blubber and the attitude of entitlement.

Most of the laughter sounded canned.

Easy to tell why I have never heard of this guy.

Well that is the truth... The grown men are the children that used to ride in the street... and the attitude, that's from having to deal with motorists that think they own the road. A lifetime of having to deal with "cagers" is going to give any well meaning cyclist an attitude. And those grown men... they're the "survivors" that learned the middle of the road was the safest place to ride...

The foundation of humor is a kernel of truth followed by a load of exaggeration. He's not very funny- If I got free tickets I wouldn't see this a$$hat. If he was appearing in a bar I wouldn't walk out. Kind of a null object.

I would go just for the fun of heckling him. That would be twice as funny as his act.

I agree, it needs more exaggeration. It currently sounds like a newspaper comments section.

It sounds like someone may have been offended by a comedy bit. Oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

At first I was thinking the guy should lose 20 lbs first and then talk but then this bit about being offended by comedians got me thinking it would be a lot funner if the guy was 50 lbs heavier.

Anyway in life some jokes just land wrong IMHO this is one of them.

It's a joke. It's not meant to be examined for logical content.

The part that gets me is his opening comment about "over the last 5-7 years, people who rie bicycles have given themselves a license to be a**holes."

This comes from someone whose profession has self-given the a**hole license for FORTY years.

Take a ride, fat boy.

He doesn't even have his own wiki page.

Now that's funny.

But what an energy... I could imagine him falling asleep towards the end of the show with a huge thump that would be louder than his microphone hitting the floor.

I must be nuts too because that has been my experience as well. Not to say that no kids are riding in the street, but most where I live seemingly ride on the sidewalks.

What's stunning is the amount of kids who don't ride. Too busy playing video games I suppose.

Can't wait until he tackles the really controversial subjects- like airline food. What's up with that stuff, anyway?

Yes, a cardboard burger only requires ten dollars off Ye Olde credit card.
