I'd rather ride in heavy traffic without parked cars than less traffic with parked cars. So far I've been able to find routes to avoid parked cars. When I can't, I don't ride fast when passing parked cars. This helps to look into them too.

CTM, the one that crosses my path with that brain fart is going to put both of us in a situation that neither will come out unscathed by it, nobody will be the winner that day. I drive a 3,850 lb Nissan Pathfinder so that much is in my favor, I only hope that they are in something considerably smaller so their brain fart is harder on them than me. The other day the morons in front of me stopped for no reason, I was barely able to stop myself, but almost immediately I looked in the rear view mirror and was nervous that a Honda Civic wasn't going to stop, they were pretty close, but we all made it thru with no incident. When we started to move, I passed the 3 jerks that stopped in front of me after we all turned right onto a 3 lane road. I took that much out of their hands, no leap of faith, they blew their opportunity with a close call. And I did speed to get the feck away from them. If I'm not around them, they can't hit or kill me. I'll let them tailgate each other and stop for no reason, they deserve each other for that. I don't know them nor ever want to meet them by "accident". My life is better for it.
It was all your fault, you did not move FRAP enough into the ditch to avoid the problem. And what were you doing driving down the middle of such a road anyway, you should have picked a better route where such problems never occur. And since they never hit you, it really was not a close call, your just exaggerating. Why did you not just slow down and let them pass as any defensive driver instruction dictates? But NO, you had to road rage, go speeding and pass them, all under the false claim of safety.
The common theme for you seems to be, NO ONE SHOULD SLOW ME DOWN, NOT CYCLIST AND NOT MOTORIST.

This post proves what a troll you are. A response similar to the ones you make against cyclist would be:

The one's at the right turn, you'd have to have been behind them to really have appreciated them. Nothing like having a green light for the intersection and having each one of them stop for no reason at the corner. Here in Miami, we have a lot of drivers that like to stoop and squat, that is go and then hit their brakes in the hopes that another motorist rear ends them for an insurance claim. I'm not certain which of these drivers was doing this, but I refuse to be a victim and stick around them to find out in an every few red lights situation. I drive the car to get where I'm going, not look for insurance claims to pad my bank account. A few years back on a highway, I saw a guy do that in rush hour, he had a Scion, rolled backwards enough to get out and claim another motorist rear ended him. Too funny, I witnessed it and stuck around for FHP to arrive and gave testimony of the account. The damage on the Scion didn't even match the other vehicle's bumper and there wasn't a scratch on the accused's bumper. FHP let the both of us leave and detained the other driver further. I do enjoy when a liar and fraud is caught and I'll stay whatever time it takes to ensure they aren't rewarded for their fraud.
NO ONE SHOULD SLOW ME DOWN, NOT CYCLIST AND NOT MOTORIST.

CB HI, BTW, I'm one of the few that leaves at least a 2 second rule on the Palmetto Expressway when I drive it, you'd be surprised how many are doing 50-60 mph or even faster and draft the car in front of them like they're Dale Earnhardt Jr on that road. I had one following me today, that to be honest, I had to shift in my seat to either side to even see the rear bumper of their car in the rear view mirrors when they were directly behind me. That one I can't do anything about except hope they don't rear end me.

I can see why you so ardently defended the Porsche JAM.
