Police Arrest Suspect In Fatal Bicycle Crash

HONOLULU -- A suspect in a fatal hit-and-run accident on Farrington highway in Waianae has turned himself in.
The crash happened at about 5 p.m. Monday.
Police said an SUV traveling in the westbound direction swerved and hit a bicyclist on the sidewalk along Farrington Highway near Leihoku Street.
The suspect, a 31-year-old man from Waianae, at first tried to help the victim, but then fled the scene, according to police.
He later turned himself in at the Kapolei Police Substation.
The victim was a 17-year-old male from Waianae.

I think this guy having a brake would not have helped much, but after being in Seattle this past weekend, I used a brake on the hills there. It was nice to have on the steep-ass mothers since I was not used to them.

Yeah, I think those messengers in Seattle have to be at least half mountain goat. Especially the ones by the waterfront.
