Good news, persay
I was at the drug store earlier today. I had just locked up my bike and hadn't turned off my Planet Bike Superflash(https://ecom1.planetbike.com/3034.html). I had changed the batteries yesterday. So it was super bright.
Another cyclist came up to me and told me that, since he did a lot of night riding, he wondered how he could get one.(surprise, not dismay)
I hope he remembers the website. Because, He sounded like he wanted to be properly lit at night. No 'ninja' riding was in his future from the sounds of it.

I've had some comments about my Cygolite Hotshot, and surprisingly cheap for the light. These days its getting easier and easier (read: cheaper) to be seen from behind. I don't think this trend is going to put more lit riders on the roads though; its mostly among riders that already have some kind of rear light that care about upgrading, not the ones that ride straight at me the wrong way without lights.
