Have anyone got a ticket as well because of this?

I've never been stopped by police on my bike for anything, including taking an entire lane. Since I've been driving a car for about 30 years, I know the difference between motorists that are really held up behind me and motorists that are impatient.
Anyone driving 150 hp. that can't easily and safely pass a 20 mph., 2 foot-wide cyclist needs to go back to driver's ed.

I have. No ticket but only because he realized I was using a rearview mirror. Originally he thought I had made an unsafe lane change. No one was behind me so I didn't signal.

I never had but if the police did issue me one, I would fight it. This is very subjective and the difference between taking the lane and not is about 2 feet! When I ride, the bicycle can drift about 1 foot or more at any one time. I find myself taking the lane sometimes by accident but often times by necessity.

Never been stoped or recieved a ticket for that... I would think that they would have a hard time in court over this one too...

Never been stopped..But, once in San Diego police announced over the loud speaker, I was too far to the left and move right.. I disagreed...Lane was very wide...Two lanes in each direction...
I was maybe 2-3 feet to the left from the parked cars, because any number of motorist were opening car doors to exit their vehicles...Felt like talking back to the cop, but did not...San Diego police can have an authority issue I have been told..

This thread is just a knock-off of this one, which Jeffery started only two days ago. I think one or the other should be closed. I also think Jeffery needs take a self-imposed (not moderator-imposed) pause from adding threads.

Every lane is a bike lane

This is something that always amazes me on boards like this. Someone will come up with a topic a little off kilter or a troll. And 100 people will respond for him to quit doing it. If you don't like it just don't respond to it. Or even better don't even read it.
