Well looks like I will be a First time Grandpa in the next couple of days
so I will have a new youngin to teach good bike saftey in a few years
among other things

You won't only be teaching. I hope you have an eye on progressively acquiring a trailer for the tot; then a tag-a-long to go behind your bike.
