I too would have refrained from passing on the right but would forgone any yelling or death stares. The driver's in this cause mistaken caution would have cost me a few seconds but then we would have just gone on to our destinations.

I like placing my CAR directly beside people that attempt this move. It's wonderous when someone misses their exit when they attempt to cut you off, rather than take the 15 car lengths available behind you.

If they choose to be selfish, I do the same, in a car.

But on a bike I do the center to left move to make it clear I'm not going around them on the right. Or the death stare if they bork the situation up like the OP and video states. Just sit and stare, they get embarrassed pretty quick.

Gotta agree... perhaps tap on the airzounds, just to give them a taste of their own medicine. Yelling just tends to make it personal and escalate things.

I have had this happen to the extreme of a driver missing a right turn only lane as they somehow expected to quickly pass me and schlep over to the right... much like the video; only they had the timing all wrong... and then they have sit there and have to wait as I ride by. Then the motorist has to deal with being in the right non turning lane and now they have to sheepishly move back into the RTOL in front of other motor traffic. It's classic. All the motorist had to do was pay attention and merge with the traffic (which includes bikes) and things work smoothly. It is that lack of paying attention that is the root cause of all these issues.
