Exhibiting poor form when running a red light

If there's a right way and a wrong way to run a red light, this would be the wrong way.

Everyone is wrong in what they do except for me, I've got a legitimate exception, they don't. I think that sums it up pretty well.

The cyclist was right, until he made the bonehead move of going through the red light.

what I think is poor form is making people stop for you. It's very much like motorists that force their way through a crowd of pedestrians. This guy didn't do that, everyone at the light was stopped, probably because someone designed the light cycle wrong.

I was about to say. No danger of getting hit, no problems.

Whatz wit da lame "stop" hand signal from the woman cyclist? If thatz wat at it was. I hope she doesn't count on that to inform motorists or cyclists of anything important.

That is a correct "slow down / stop" signal to someone behind you. She obviously knew the person behind her, and knew that person would recognize it. I don't see an issue.

I guess she assumed that her friend behind her must be so blind and/or stupid that he/she can't figure out without cryptic" correct" hand signals what the 5mph cyclist will do when approaching traffic that is stopped in front of her.

I'd normally apply a "no harm, no foul" rule to running a red light when there's no traffic.

Poor form was exhibited when making a big deal about a rear wheel dragging less than a foot into the bike lane at the inside of a curve. Running a red light right after being such a stickler makes him a hippocrite. The misspelling is intentional because he's a horse's ash.

The greatest 'poor form' was the posting of a crappy video.

Maybe they have a system worked out. Who cares?

That comment applies to every "suspect" action in the video.

I'm confused...

From the video it looked completely safe to go through the red light.

I say good form!

Listen to these holier than thou idiots:

Guy: They're running the red light.
Girl: Yup! Didja catch that?
Guy: Yeah.
Girl: I almost said something.

The last person who said something to me after I safely went through the red light was greeted by my middle finger. Is that bad form? Ooops.

What's with the lame English? Obviously you speak English, but write in a style that slows the reader down. Perhaps your time is more valuable than everyone elses's.

It isn't lame English. It is a recognized dialect of English. I had no problems understanding ILTBs sentence nor did it slow me down one bit.

So on this thread we will argue about the "right" way for a cyclist to break the law in front of motorists. And on another thread, we'll moan and groan about how motorists hate cyclists. And no one here will see the connection.

Maybe you need hand signals if that bit of irreverent fun really "slowed down" your reading of 2 short sentences.
