Advocacy and politics
One of my recent posts was moved to the P&R forum, I guess because it was deemed to have too much political content, ie. Rob Ford and Rush Limbaugh. My question is: as advocates of cycling, why can't we discuss people who want to get us off the street, and are indifferent to the safety of cyclists? When Rush Limbaugh says he doesn't care if he doors a cyclist and injures him, why shouldn't we talk about it in the Advocacy and Safety forum?

you can talk about it in the Politics and Religion section all you want. If you read through your previous thread, it got political/partisan, that's why it went to P&R.

I'd say that the discussion is inevitably going to get political when someone enters the thread and either
a) calls Limbaugh a conservative nutbag
b) takes up for the conservative nutbag
just my guess.
