At least they did not paint the storm drain into the bike lane.

Hope all that paint is not the slippery stuff when it gets wet.

They shouldn't feel too bad since there are plenty of similar examples. This one is a little longer at 5m instead of only 4m, and it also contains a handy stopping aid in case the cyclist's brakes fail:
