NPR LA bike commuters: Car driver admits to buzzing cyclists

This story was on NPR this morning. No transcript but you can listen to it here.

LA Bicycle Commuters Form 'Bike Trains' For Safety : NPR

At the end of the story they interview a car driver that admits to wanting to run cyclists off the road and deliberately driving close to cyclists to try to scare them.

The beauty of life in the USA is that there's something for everybody. Bike trains aren't my cup of tea, and go against many of the reasons folks bike commute, such as freedom from schedules. But if folks like them and volunteers are willing to make them happen, more power to them. I suspect that after a time when riders are more comfortable, they'll move on and ride independently. Or might be forced to if they're "stranded" after missing the train on their way home from work.

And I've actually kind of done one of those drive-really-close-to-them kind of things just to scare them to try to intimidate them to kind of get out of my way.
Burke is the LA equivalent of Mr. "put emm inna deeeeeitch" Maddox:

Infamous YouTube ?Run ?em in a Ditch? Driver Arrested in Alabama | Streetsblog USA

Hopefully someone informs law enforcement and this individual gets arrested.
