I particularly like the twerp who thinks that cyclists ride at "less than 10%" of the speed of cars - I feel that a speed of 2.9 mph wouldn't be too conducive to a 15 mile ride to the ceremony

Me too. I liked the article about Robin Williams riding around like a regular guy that was in the sidebar.

I love this kind of bike activism - encouraging change through practical means. It definitely helps that he has made a name for himself, and thus could have just as easily joined the masses of limo-riders clogging up the roadways.

Who knows, maybe bike-riding will become the new rage among celebs? IMO that could only help the cause, though I suspect the Kadashians would find a way to bling their bikes to weaponized status via blinding.
