Hey everyone, I'm new here.
After visiting Portland I got a taste for the minibike from riding with the Zoobombers. Here's my 19" frame with a 12" mag on the front. I've got to figure out better steering geometry because I get some scary wobbles at speed.

That Rockhopper was a plain old DF mountain bike. It has 2 small frames welded together to make a large front (straight or solid) axle. Mountain bike cut about 1' ahead of the seat-post, and then a headset welded on. Entire front axle bolted in to turn as a unit: painted. I saw and bought it already done.
Looks weird in scale. Wide, big wheels with knobby tires. Extremely hard to steer while braking- pulls right or left violently! That might be why it was sold, but I had the same problem with another trike- east fix.
That massive thing moves right along with plain gearing. I have not gone over 15, and don't think I ever will dare to; but for plain workhorse riding it will work nicely. I am putting panniers on it today. I do not like mountain bikes for recumbent trike part

This is my long bike. It works as a tandem as well, you just have to put another crankset, saddle and regular bars on it.
