I've seen those pictures before! Sounds like a pretty wacky idea. I'd like it for a utility bicycle for carrying heavy loads. Imagine pedaling around with a bunch of wood in the back, but as you stop, the wheels camber out so you don't have to put your foot down and support the entire weight with your leg. I'm just not sure how to do it in a reliable fashion without all sorts of electrical apparatus hanging off the bike...
