help me with my lowrider build??!
Hello world! Comin from canada where theres not alot of lowrider enthusiasts, or ppl with great knowledge of them.im starting a build and have so many questions...will 24" rims fit on my 20" frame, how do i measure my current twisted forks, to know what size will be longer (which in tryin to do) , i have a 20" frame, but im 6'1 and looking for a 24" frame as i heard there a lil longer and better suited to a guy my height...where can i find one? Honestly i have 50 more i wanna ask, id like to exchange emails/ phone numbers maybe and jus deal with one expert as multiple advice, tho appreciated, will become confusing. So anyone willing to be my mr. Miagi, id like to pick your brain. Thanks in advance guys, and happy riding!!

I'm not sure how to measure a lower frame as they seem to vary depending on whether you have a normal 'beach cruiser-style frame or a 'stretch' frame. Here's a link to a website that may help you with parts and ideas:

they're not really my thing, but I remember a lowrider forum that has a pretty big lowrider bicycle section. might want t try and hunt that up. the name is on a laptop I hardly use now, but i'll see if I can come across it.

hmmm... looks like they're going extinct. back around '08, i bought an all chrome 24' "stretch lowrider" bike with an extended banana seat and 144 spoke "daytons", but it seems they're no longer sold at lowrider shops. i see you can still get frames on amazon though https://www.amazon.com/Lowrider-24-S...=1&*entries*=0 but they're more expensive now and might not come in red, blue or chrome anymore, and you might be hard pressed to find the correct chainguard for them too. i liked the look of a 24" stretch frame. it's sleeker looking than a stingray clone frame. i ended up selling mine at a serious loss though as i just couldn't ride it. as an amputee who can't stand up on a lowrider, it would make my fun zone go numb after only 10 minutes of riding. if you want to go 24" and lowrider, then a stretch frame should definitely be something you look into along with 20" (i think) extended banana seats and 26" lowrider forks. then you can build one HUGE (longer than a beach cruiser and then some) 24" lowrider that isn't like trying to ride a clown bike

mine was just like the one in front in the top photo, except i upgraded to a diamond pleated seat and twisted handlebars like the gold ones in the pic below. besides being uncomfortable, the forks squeaked like crazy and the fenders were always buzzing against the forks until i jammed some toilet paper in between to stop the rattling.
