Tallbike on the MS150
Hey everyone,
Some of you may be familiar with the MS150. It is a 150 mile two day charity ride to raise money for the National MS Society. This will be my second year doing the ride, but this time I'm setting a high fundraising goal. My deal is that if I can reach my high goal, I agree to ride my tallbike for at least half of the ride (Philadelphia, PA to Ocean City, NJ). So I'm here to ask for you help in reaching my fundraising goal. You can check out my personal donor page here:
https://www.nationalmssociety.org/PA...MS120060916CTS
Pledges can be made via the link on that page.
Has anyone else here ever done any long distance rides on a tallbike before? As it stands now, I think I may need to attain some new parts to make the bike fit me a bit better if I wind up doing this.
Thanks much!
Ashley

You'll be easy to spot up there if you go thru with it. I think I rode into ocean city with you last year. I had a fixed surly crosscheck with moustache bars. I'll look for you again this year. Do you think they'll let you enter the course on that thing?

oh, yea! i totally remember you!
They'll definitely let me ride it. In fact, they have been encouraging me to. I did a short phone interview with the PR department in hopes of getting featured in some local papers to help raise money. I guess if it will bring in more money for the MS Society, they're all for it.
If I don't wind up on the tall, this year you'll find me on a black soma rush fix with purple bar tape.

If its anything like the crashfests that have been the MS 150's I've done, I wouldn't want my head starting that far off the ground
