First attempt to start an "alt bike" (X-post from C&V)
Found this frame in a pretty sorry state. Restore it would cost alot. So I'm going a different route. 1958 Schwinn Spitfire Mixte.

Nah, Im gonna leave it the way it is. I need to figure out something for a brake though. The 20 inch wheel has a freewheel on it, and i dont feel like going coaster...
pull freewheel and install track cog?? hmm

No, its just the original old Schwinn Blade fork. Im thinking of possibly brazing on a set of brake mounts on the chainstays in the rear.

It is almost impossible to find a coaster brake here in portugal...

One piece crank set??? Here we only have those on bmx's..
