What size rims are on the trike, Blake?

Is that how you got it, or have you cleaned it up/added components?

They are 26" rims, but for some reason 26" tires dont fit the old bikes. They are more like 27". I had the same problem with the other bike i posted. This pic is after i took the seat and bars off, and stripped the paint, getting ready for primer. Still gotta do some sanding. Not really sure how this one is gonna turn out, maybe i will give it a banana seat and some ape hangers, and build a nice custom box for the back. Still getting ideas, thanks for your interest.

They're Schwinn S6 or S7 rims labeled as 26x1 3/8 or 1 3/4 respectively, but not interchangeable.
See https://sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html for all the confusion.

I noticed a couple of heavy-duty Schwinn rims on Ebay when I was perusing last night- not sure if they're the normal size or the Schwinn-oddball size, tho.

probably gonna have to leave the hubs right on and just lace up new wheels right on the bike. I cant get them wheels off. They are only 2 little studs holding each wheel on and they are allen bolts and of course they are stripped.
