I would like to get one, but not enough to shell out the major bucks involved. Actually, you can get the older foreign ones such as this for not too much money, but they are fairly scarce and hard to ship, so it can be a while before one shows up in your area. I especially like the reverse-trike ones, though. This one is more or less like a bicycle on the back, but I've seen some that have the bottom bracket raised so that the driver sits quite a bit higher than on a normal bike, for better visibility over the canopy. Last time I checked, a guy in Phoenix had a Worksman model still for sale, and there's been a foreign one in Austin for sale.

Hmm...is that round bar behind the seat back the control? I wasn't paying attention to the steering when they cruised by.
Next time I see them I'll get more info.
They're planning to add some tassels to the canopy for a little more style.

That bar that looks unpainted is the handlebar.
Notice the funky brake on it, which is common on the foreign ones.

if there is a demand, should I switch job, and become an exporter of pedicabs? (here in indonesia they call it becak pronounced bay-chuck)
there are different types, different city, different type.
