Anyone know anything about or have specs on this bike? (Not sure if this is the correct place for this but I'm new so cut me some slack!) Picked one up at a yard sale for $10 and am turning it into a trekking/touring/commuter bike. So does anyone have any info??

Howdy, I too am a newbie on this site and got here by surfing the web trying to find out anything at all regarding what I believe to be a 1983 DB Sand Streak. It's white with blue decals and looks to me as though it's been garaged for the last twenty plus years. The original very wide white wall tires have zero checking in them at all and still have air in them, a lot! I haven't even ridden it yet since I know zero about it, like - it's a coaster brake right? Are there any other gears actuated by the pedal? Just one? It kinda acts like the old Schwinn Paperboy Specials I used to have that were two speed rear ends. Anyone able to point me in the right direction? Thanks mucho.
