non-motorized hot rodz needed !!!
 

I am organizing an event that will take place September 18th, 2010 in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. This event will be a hot rod show for non-motorized machines. I'm looking for hot-rod themed bicycles, scooters, pinewood derby, karts, hotwheels…anything and everything non-motorized but still built for hot rodding! If anyone is interested in showing his or her machine(s) at this event, or if you know anyone else who is, please respond to www.myspace.com/theeddiesclub or www.myspace.com/midwestgravityriders for more info. No charges to show, just a short registration form to submit, then show up and show off! The event is planned to end with a dodge ball game down the street from the event location, there's fantastic food right across the street, and we're working on some attractions to make it a great draw! A new Kansas City roller derby team will even be coming out to help us make the event awesome! Lets make a good show for gravity racers and promote at a fun and free event!

You might post a notice at www.ratrodbikes.com if you haven't. The emphasis there is on appearance, not performance, but it's still a hot-rod theme.

You might also consider if low-rider bikes qualify- that'd get you some extra participation.

And, put a notice or two or three on the local Craigslist bike ads if you haven't.

thanx for advice, i already posted on ratrodbikes, i love that site! i hadnt thought about craigslist, ill give that a go!
