Too bad they don't have those tiny recumbents anymore. A folding recumbent would be great for the traveler.

Read a short article about Paris during WWII. Since civilian driving was banned, most travel was by foot or bike. Guy remembers how clean the air was, how nicely in shape the women were, and the quiet. Every cloud has it's silver lining.

They look pretty compact even without folding. Interesting, to me they look a lot like a Rans Rocket with really tiny wheels. I bet someones building one right now
