Back On My Surly Pugsley
... after fracturing my pelvis 8 weeks ago today it feels so good to be able to ride again. While I was laid up I did a few minor upgrades. This bike is so much fun to ride. As for the horrible pot holes in my town .. what pot holes ? lol

Wow, nice ride, fella'! Yesterday was the first day back? Had to be great!!
Better yesterday than today, but then that ride looks like an ATV....you're probably good even in these snowy conditions.

I am a lady, but yes it was awesome to be able to ride again. Yeah .. we got NAILED with snow yesterday in SE Michigan. My son in law got caught up in that massive pile up of semis down in Ohio yesterday .. narrowly missed getting caught up in it . He posted pics from his cell phone on facebook right after it happened and was trapped there for several hours.
I stayed home inside except to shovel snow .. and a lot of it. Even if my bike is a snow bike, the pot holes in my town are treacherous and with snow covering them would be another accident waiting to hit one unexpectedly .. even on a fat bike. This am it was 0*. I so want to be DONE with this winter weather. Now I hear there may be another system brewing up for next Tuesday ::sigh::
BTW .. Just about everyone mistakes me for a guy because of my screen name .. so don't apologize

Pretty much everything I've done, alt bike wise, has been a copy of somebody else's idea. Tallbikes, chopper, 3-wheel littlebike, chainring clock... even learning to ride a unicycle came from seeing another guy ride a unicycle to the office.
