X - Fusion Shox

I have an x - fusion rear shock on my fsr and i was wondering if they are good brand and how they compare with fox, rock shox etc.

They are entry level shocks that meet a lower price point and have been fitted on some reputable manufacturers lower end bikes. I know 2 people that had X-Fusion coil shocks. One person (03 Diamondback Coil SS) had the one without rebound, no problems for 2 years and the other (03 Specilized Rockhopper FSR) had the adjustable dampening fail & puke oil only after 2 rides.

As TJ said, they are an entry level shock. The Vector series is good but they are not comparable to FOX, Progressive, Manitou Swinger etc. etc. etc.

I would say use it until it fails and then upgrade to a better one.
