I'm afraid...

i'm so close to getting a pair of shinburgers.

But I dont know if I will, I'm getting a kickass deal on them, $70cad new in box.

What are you're guys thoughts? They retail for $120usd. And for me weight is certanly not an issue.

Shinburger pedals are wicked. I say go for it. As for the weight, I hate people who'll ***** and moan about an extra 1/4 pound on a bike. Just makes you stronger.

I don't really care about the weight of my pedals, if they are worth it, go for it. Personally I wouldn't get them, too much risk for the shins and they look a little tacky but hey, if you like them, just go for it.

Then don't get those pedals, they seem like they could go through your skin, flesh and bones... just to think my old plastic pedals hurted and my current barely pinned metal ones hurt like hell... I can't imagine being hit with such a big, heavy and spiky pedal on a defenseless shin...

*shivers* yeah, I have pedal-thrusted-in-my-shin-o-phobia

My unsealed aluminum's were only 30 bucks. Even the sealed magnesium ones are $70US.. dunno how much they'd be there.

Serious bling. Unnecessary, but we all know that . . . S'why we call it bling. Hey, if it trips yer trigger, why not? If ya can't get the TMX, get a piece of it (and hope it doesn't get a piece o' you ). Better yet, put a set on your unicycle - - can you imagine missing your gettup on a set of those?

Suck it up. If you are willing to wear the bling then just do it. They REALLY stick to your shoes

can i have a quarterpounder first time you miss a pedal and it goes barreling into your shin. I did that the other day with my wellgo's and it tore me up bad enough. Good luck with those, I really like em, but I'm afraid of those
