Flashing Fenix?

I've been looking at the Fenix lights but I was wondering how long the battery lasts on flashing mode. Does anyone know of a Fenix model that flashes without draining the battery too much? How do they compare to the cheap cateye blinkies for being seen by.

Thanks

the fenix's have two flash modes:
psycho strobe
sos strobe

for psycho strobe, it is probably not street legal, since it may medically induce seizures, or because of its frequency, could blind or distract drivers severely getting yourself killed

the sos is too slow and is pretty useless

the Fenix's should only be used as a to see light not a be seen light although you will be seen because they are so ultra bright

i am currently in the process of looking for a be seen light

i use the fenix as my helmet light, and am getting a cygolite for my primary to see light

i want to add two LED flashy's
and am looking at the Princeton Tec EOS, or the BLT Lights Flare DX

Princeton Tec EOS (Ultra bright 1-Watt Luxeon LED Flasher) I have personally tried it out in store:
flash mode is perfect:

BLT Lights Flare DX (7 LEDs for wide flood for wider view by cagers)

Is there video of said 'psycho' strobe mode? I'm very intrigued. My area needs such a light to wake those cagers up without a 6D maglite through the window.
