Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I was starting to look at the Colnago's around on the web and was discouraged when I found there are no US dealers. Why?

Colnago severed ties with their US distributor in January. They started Colnago America in February 2009. They cut out the middle man. Their goal was to lower prices and improve service. I order my Colnago Master X Light through www.wrenchscience.com on February 16th, I will receive it on March 31th if all goes as planned. The price I payed was lower than the pre January price so that worked out well, as far as improved service I will let you know. About the US dealers they are out there Tim Medina at wrench science is a very good guy and he would be able to help you with a good fit if that is what you are after. Hope this answers your question

here are my two. The red one is a repainted '93 Super Piu, sadly it was destroyed when I got hit by a truck a month ago. The truck driver's insurance is buying me a new bike. The other one is my beater, an early 80's Super.

The 93 Super Piu is a beautiful ride! Looks like the 80's Super needs some new paint!

I need to update the photo. This was taken right after I bought it... $300

It now has all campy centaur, new seatpost and seat, easton rims. It is a great ride.
