post hip replacement surgery
Hello.
54 year old male, recovering from hip surgery. Physical therapist and surgeon recommend bike riding. I haven't been able to ride for 15 years, but now feel like a kid again. Any recommendations on what type of bike/manufacturer that would be good? My budget is one side or the other of $800.00
Thanks!

Congrats. (I have not had surgery yet, but, I have a worn out left hip and, well, the day will come when I go under the knife.) You'll hear many recommend Cannondale Caad9...not knowing much else, it is a terrific bike and value. A key item is to find the size bike that feels good to you...also, you'll want to put a few other items in your overall budget, such as pedals, saddle bag, pump, bike tool, extra tubes, helmet, cycling bibs, cycling jerseys...
