Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They are not bad for the money a friend had a set and have been fine for a few years now. But if you don't need a set now save and get a better wheelset later, good wheels can make a big diffrence in performance if you get the correct set for your riding style.

The parts are decent - depending on who you ask, the hubs and rims are apparently identical to the wheels Neuvation sold as the M28 Aero 2, while the spokes are different. I have a set of the M28's, they did really well for 10k miles, then I started breaking spokes. I now use them only for really rainy days.

These are supposed to be machine built, so it would probably be smart to have someone who knows what they're doing check the wheel over if you do go for it.

JB

edit: I should probably note that I weigh over 200 lbs. and ride on some really rough roads.

Nothing wrong with them. I've had a pair for close to two years now. However, I wouldn't spend money on them unless I really needed a pair of wheels (which was the case for me)

IMO, best budget wheelset available. I got a pair three years ago and they've been on my road bike, my commuter, and my single speed. Jumped curbs with them all the time going to work, never had to true them once. Oh except for one time where a spoke broke
