Both interesting links.
The Xena items do not include a remote and considering how auto alarms are totally ignored, except to swear when one goes off, not too sure how effective it would be. Also the XUL series of U locks are large and heavy. I looked at the individual lock descriptions and noted a weight of over 6.4 pounds each for the XUL210, 300 and 310s. Those appear to be the 3 most appropriate for bicycle use. So unless you stay within hearing of the alarm then not sure of the added security. The 18mm shackle might discourage most thieves. They are massive locks.
The Bully lock does include a remote. Better security if the transmitter has adequate range. Useless if the battery in the lock dies. No indication of lock size and weight or transmitter range provided.
I note that both locks are illustrated being used on motorcycles whose riders are less concerned with size or weight. The Xena range states they are motorcycle oriented and the Bully is being offered by a motorcycle accessories dealer.
